growing seeds into healthy plants
£35.00 – £39.00

Growing your own plants from seed can be extremely rewarding but how can you create the optimum conditions to grow strong, healthy plants from such small beginnings? Join us for a gardening workshop to learn the essentials of growing from seed, and nurturing seedlings into healthy plants.

Join us on the first Friday morning of the month for fun, informative Gardening Workshops in our Studio at Old Barn Garden Centre.

Growing your own plants from seed is an excellent way to increase your plant stock, and a vital skill for vegetable growers. Most seeds are easy to propagate, but good technique will improve success and keep the workload manageable. In this morning workshop we will have a go at sowing a variety of seed types, practise pricking out, and learn lots of tricks and tips to produce sturdy young plants.
