Planting bulbs is a brilliant and cost-effective way to bring vibrant colour to your garden. By carefully selecting varieties, you can enjoy blooms from January right through until November. In this practical workshop, Pro Gardener Jenny Samuels will explore how to choose the right bulbs for various garden settings, including damp meadows, perennial and shrub borders, shady areas, and pots. You will learn how to group bulbs for maximum impact, determine the optimal number of bulbs needed for an effective display, and best practice techniques for planting. Join us and learn how to transform your garden with bulbs!

The Venue:

Our very own studio space is set within the grounds of Old Barn Garden Centre, Dial Post, South of Horsham. Our dedicated space for courses, is a light airy and spacious place to learn.

The Group:

Jenny teaches in small groups which ensures everyone gets the opportunity to practice, and time to ask questions. Our monthly workshops are a great way to meet like minded people with an interest in gardening and the natural world.

As the owner of the Lindfield Gardening Company, Jenny has a wide range of experience including horticultural gardening, planting design and teaching gardening to enthusiastic beginners.
