Lino Printing Inspired by Nature
Learn to carve your own beautiful linocuts and create original lino prints inspired by plants and nature.

Introduction
Join us at the beautiful, Pitfield Barn Cut Flower Farm to learn how to design and carve your own linocuts.
Relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoy a delicious lunch.

We begin with an introduction to linocut – how to use the carving tools and basic cutting techniques. At first, you will make your own small practice block to learn the techniques. You will be shown how to ink your lino block and burnish prints by hand.
Then a break for tasty lunch and tour of the flower fields.
Once confident with the techniques, you will design your own A6 Block, taking inspiration from the gardens, resource materials or your own images.
Everyone will take home several completed images.
