“Wondering what’s new on the gardening front I was intrigued with the title of Juliet Sergeant’s talk “The Tasty Garden.” So glad I went along. Juliet took us on a delightful journey of discovery showing gardens from a very different perspective. A real eye opener. Finger licking good too as we were offered tasty nibbles made by enthusiastic chef Sam Mathews from plants and trees I didn’t know were edible let alone tasted so good. Who’d a thought hostas can be cooked into a feast? No wonder the slugs like them! Tulip petals? Go for the red ones for taste. Hope to meet you perhaps at her next session?”
