In this illustrated talk and workshop, Juliet will explain how to choose the right place for your pond, how to design it correctly and then implement your design. She will also cover how to choose, source and plant a good selection of plants, that will look great and also support the wildlife in your garden.

• Know what materials you need, where to get them, and how to implement your pond plan
• Understanding of the different types of pond plants and how to choose a good selection
The Group
Juliet teaches in an informal, accessible, workshop style with illustrated ‘info-bites’ and relevant exercises to help you to think about your own garden.
As well as being an award-winning garden designer, Juliet has been teaching gardening to professionals and enthusiasts for over 15 years.
The Venue
Old Barn Nurseries is one of the largest nurseries in Sussex. Having been recently re-vamped, we will meet in their purpose-built studio ‘The Garden Room’.
As well as having a large selection of garden plants, there is a wide range of pond sundries and pond plants to investigate in the nursery.
